The book Communication in Midwifery Practice 2nd Edition is a book aimed at students, especially midwifery students. This book was prepared to provide opportunities for students to apply interpersonal communication and counseling within the scope of midwifery practice by paying attention to cultural aspects based on philosophy, ethics, law, science that emphasizes health promotion efforts, with an emphasis on empowering individuals, families, groups, and communities to maintain and improve their health.

This book is the second edition of the book that has been adapted to the latest curriculum, namely the 2012 curriculum, based on the results of research conducted by the author. Each chapter in this book is adjusted to the learning objectives that refer to the curriculum and is equipped with questions, effective listening measurement tools, effective communication measurement tools that have been tested for validity and reliability by the author, and are equipped with effective listening exercises, asking open questions, empathy, and others.
