Midwifery care is an activity in providing health services to clients who have problems or needs during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning. The goal of childbirth care is to provide adequate care during childbirth in an effort to achieve clean and safe delivery, with attention to aspects of mother love and baby love.

This book is written to fulfil the learning needs of midwifery students. This book is written based on the college curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications framework, given the limited reference books for the introductory midwifery care course at this time.

As a textbook for Introduction to Midwifery Care, this book is intended for midwifery students, midwife practitioners, and midwifery teachers to make it easier to understand about physiological and psychological adaptations in pregnant women, maternity, newborns, and postpartum.
