This book discusses various aspects of pharmacology starting from definitions, pharmacological terminology, history of pharmacology, general pharmacology which includes the branches of pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and drug pharmacokinetics. This book also discusses individual responses to drugs, drug interactions, the science of dosage (posology), and the principles of prescription writing along with an appendix about Latin terms that are often used in prescription writing.
