The COVID-19 pandemic began with the SARS CoV 2 virus, which then infected humans and spread to almost all corners of the world. The problem that started from the health aspect then expanded and has really affected various aspects of human life. Massive control efforts have been made in various countries with the support of international organizations, but it seems that the world still has to struggle with the impact of the pandemic with all its consequences. When COVID-19 began, I was still working at the WHO South East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) based in New Delhi, India. After retiring on September 30, 2020, I intend to play my part in sharing correct and valid information about various aspects of this disease, through writing in the media.
