The discussion in this book begins with the theory and concept of group activity therapy starting from the definition of groups, group dynamics processes, group size, and matters relating to group effectiveness in psychiatric nursing therapy. The next section is the type of group activity therapy which includes 4 types, namely socialization group activity therapy, perception stimulation group activity therapy, sensory stimulation group activity therapy, and reality orientation group activity therapy. In this edition, there is an additional type of perception stimulation group activity therapy, namely TAKSP Overcoming Self-Care Deficit (TAKSP-DPD) which can improve patients' ability to overcome self-care deficit problems.
