Mencegah Sejak Dini Penyakit Menular Seksual pada Remaja
STDs are infections that are transmitted through sexual intercourse with an infected partner. STDs have a broader meaning than the term "venereal disease" which indicates one of its transmissions. Symptoms of STDs are not always found in the genitals, but are also found in the organs of sight, mouth, digestive tract, liver, brain and skin. For example, HIV and Hepatitis B are transmitted through sexual intercourse, but the signs and symptoms cannot be seen from the sufferer's genitals. This means that even though the genitals still look healthy, the person carries the seeds of these diseases. STDs such as HIV and Hepatitis B are difficult to cure because the immune system is attacked by the virus, tends to be weak and it is difficult to find the right medicine. Good knowledge of STDs in adolescents has an impact on avoiding these diseases. Delivering clear and easy-to-understand information requires using the right media. Media in the form of pocket books is very helpful for adolescents to understand STD material. Because pocket books with a size that is easy to carry, teenagers can read anywhere and whenever needed. So it is easy to get and understand information about STDs
