Analisis kebijakan kesehatan : prinsip dan aplikasi
It may be that the variety of health problems we face is a reflection of policy failure in Indonesia. The point of policy failure can occur at every stage of the policy development process. This has led to increasing demands for policy analysis as an important instrument in the policy development process. The urgency of the ability to review policies is increasingly recognized, not only by policy makers at the macro, strategic, and top levels; but also at the meso, micro, and low levels.
This book explains the principles and applications of the concept of policy analysis at every stage of policy development. Not only does it explain the framework for thinking in analyzing policies, this book is also equipped with a description of policy reviews in a practical setting. Various case studies are described as illustrations of the role of policy analysis in the development of health policies in Indonesia. The main discussion topics in this book include: the crucial role of policy analysis at every stage of the policy development cycle and recommendations from policy analysis results, analysis of stakeholders involved in the interaction of policy implementation, Policy Environment Score and Health Impact Assessment, and Policy Brief as a 'light and friendly' media for conveying recommendations at the advocacy coalition level.
The presence of this book is expected to benefit all. Both for students and those studying health policy as well as policy stakeholders, including policy makers and observers, health policy practitioners and professional organizations. Hopefully, in the end, this book can play a role in the development of evidence-based health policies, for the sake of raising the health status of the Indonesian people.
