Problematika Penanganan Sepsis : Ketamin Awal Sebuah Pemikiran
Sepsis is one of the world's most important health problems. Worldwide, 13 million people develop sepsis each year and as many as four million people die from it. Currently, over reactivity of the immune system is thought to be responsible for tissue and organ damage in sepsis. Ketamine has been the choice as an induction drug in patients with unstable hemodynamic conditions such as sepsis patients, the cardiovascular stimulation effect makes it the drug of choice for induction of anesthesia in these patients. However, more than that, it turns out that ketamine has another role in the immune system of sepsis patients who experience over reactivity. This book is expected to be the first step in thinking about the role of ketamine in sepsis.
