Genotyping dan karakterisasi molekular spesies trichomonad di Indonesia dalam pencegahan penyakit zoonosis
Parasitic infections have infected millions of people worldwide, particularly in developing countries. Parasitic infections can cause infectious diseases ranging from mild to severe (death). Parasites reproduce and have a life cycle with their host (animal or human) and the environment. In general, parasitic infections are divided into two categories: ectoparasites (arthropods) and endoparasites. Endoparasites are caused by protists (single-celled organisms) and helminths. Parasites can infect humans through various intermediaries.
