This book is a sequel to Kazuo Murakami's previous work, The Mystery of DNA. This book explains that human genetic information in DNA is written with four chemical letters, which are chemical substances consisting of four types of bases: A (Adenine), T (Thymine), C (Cytosine), and G (Guanine). There are 3 billion of these letters. It's remarkable that these four letters can create 7 billion different human beings.

Important things you need to know in this book: 1. If DNA is likened to a dictionary, genes can be likened to the sentences in that dictionary. 2.
