Currently, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) have again received great attention since the development of HIV/AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) infection. However, there are still very few books that discuss STDs in a practical and fairly complete manner. The Indonesian STD Study Group (KSPMSI) felt the need for a book that could answer the need for knowledge about STDs, especially for general practitioners and specialists, even medical students. It turned out that this idea was well received by the members, which finally came true with the publication of this book on Sexually Transmitted Diseases. We hope that this book can provide great benefits for those who need it, especially because this book is also equipped with guidelines for the management of Sexually Transmitted Diseases that have been prepared by KSPMSI together with the Directorate General of P2M-PLP, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Without the willingness to cooperate from the authors and publishers, it would be impossible for this book to be completed, so for that we express our gratitude for the time that has been sacrificed for the realization of this book.
