This book seeks to provide various concepts underlying nursing care in children that are important to have, especially by nursing students to explore the field of pediatric nursing and generally for nurses who provide nursing services to pediatric clients, both in good health and sickness and hospitalized. Basically, this book was prepared based on the National Curriculum for Diploma III Nursing Education issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education in 1999, taking into account the high needs of students for Indonesian-language source books. This book is a textbook for Pediatric Nursing courses in the context of the Family. Thus, the main target of this book is students and lecturers in the diploma III program. In this book, various concepts underlying nursing care in children are explained, which are then expected to be continued by the next textbook on the application of these basic concepts to pediatric nursing care with various cases, whether in sick babies, sick children, troubled children, or children with surgical problems. No ivory does not crack, that's how this book is. With all humility, the author sincerely hopes for suggestions and constructive criticism and readers to improve the quality of this book in the future.
