The purpose of writing this Pharmaceutical Microbiology book is to fulfill one of the academic activity facilities at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Given that microorganisms are organisms that are widely found in nature and play a very large role in the fields of pharmacy and health, it is only right that every student studying pharmacy and health understands the basics of microorganism health and control as well as the welfare of human life. Especially in the fields of pharmacy and health. This book is divided into 13 chapters, explaining the basics of microbiology, microorganisms in general, and explaining the role of microorganisms in the field of pharmacy. This book also discusses microorganisms, especially those that are detrimental to pharmaceutical preparations, food and beverages, as well as preventive measures that can be taken to increase product shelf life and product quality. At the end of each chapter, questions are also given that aim to explore students' understanding of the topics discussed in the chapter. I hope this book can help undergraduate students in the Faculty of Pharmacy and other exact faculties in studying and better understanding matters related to microorganisms, especially in relation to the fields of pharmacy and health. Finally, I hope for suggestions and criticisms for the perfection of writing the next Pharmaceutical Microbiology book.
