Konsep dasar keperawatan komunitas
Achieving a healthy state is the desire of all parties, not only humans as individuals but also by families, groups and the wider community. To be able to achieve this state, many things need to be done comprehensively and integrated, so the approach used must consider various aspects of the lives of the users of health services themselves. The diverse ethnic and cultural characteristics of both patients and nurses or other health care providers make the problem even more complex. With the increasingly depressed Indonesian economy in 1997, the community/society in Indonesia also experienced a shift in disease patterns towards Chronic and Infectious. The active and real role of nurses is very important, especially related to social issues and health-related issues at the local and national levels. Social issues such as violence, child exploitation, promiscuous sexual relations, homelessness, unemployment, and drug abuse are becoming increasingly prevalent and need to be resolved effectively and efficiently. To help overcome the above, health workers/nurses must motivate themselves to be able to carry out their duties and responsibilities well, with a focus on primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions. Therefore, it is necessary to be prepared to be able to help handle these problems.
