Textbooks on leprosy are considered insufficient for medical students, general practitioners and other health workers. Early introduction of leprosy diagnosis and uniformity of management are essential for the eradication and prevention of disability due to leprosy. The above encourages dermatologists, especially in the field of leprosy, as well as other related specialist doctors in all State Medical Faculties in Indonesia, to create this book. It is hoped that this book can be a good source of information, especially in diagnostics and management. Although the editor has tried to compile this book as carefully as possible, suggestions for improvement from readers are very much expected so that future editions will be better. We would like to thank the authors who have taken the trouble to prepare the manuscript as well as possible.
