Hepatology has made great strides over the past few years. This book is an attempt to integrate the new views on the science of the liver and bile ducts with the relatively old views on the same science. This book not only presents the latest examination and treatment methodologies (e.g. echography and CT-scenes, LeVeen bypass and hti grafting), but also attempts to place these methodologies and therapies in their respective places in the diagnostic and therapeutic repertoire. The cross-referencing between the various chapters in this book will certainly facilitate this occupation. Regarding anatomy-pathology, it is described in accordance with the views and terminology that are smelly. For example, the choice of Rapport's asinus model is described at length which replaces Kierman's asinus model. Various new things about sell kupfer and about endotoxins receive attention. Similarly, hepatitis-virus B infection is described quite intensively. Considerable attention is given to the effects of drugs, alcohol and various metabolic disorders. Gradually improved diagnostics and (sometimes) the link between diagnostic measures and various substances (e.g. Vinichloride, K.B. tablets) on the one hand and various viruses on the other hand add new insights into liver tumors.
