Pengantar pemeriksaan klinis (ed. 6)
This handbook aims to provide basic methods of clinical examination for beginning medical clerkship students. It is expected to be useful at the beginning of clinical training, when students feel overburdened with details. Final year students should also find this book useful for relearning. The content of this sixth edition has undergone many changes and all illustrations have been redrawn. The first chapter outlines the general principles of history taking and the final chapter outlines the comprehensive and integrated body examination system. The other chapters deal with the major systems in a sequential manner. Each starts by describing the main symptoms of the disease and then the normal and abnormal findings. Descriptions of specific diseases are limited to those that are frequently encountered or that illustrate particular points of importance. Relevant physical examinations at the bedside are described in detail using simple step-by-step procedures. Most of the methods described can be practiced on friends so that proficiency can be gained before students examine patients. Each chapter concludes with a number of emphasized cases at the end of the book. The ability to perform a thorough clinical examination is an important clinical tool. However, the value of the examination depends on knowledge of the underlying science and disease process.
