Perjalanan dan nasib obat dalam badan
This book contains a description of the journey of drugs in the body and how the drugs used experience the effects of the body on the drugs.
Many scientific disciplines are involved in this event, including: 1. biopharmaceuticals, 2. pharmacokinetics, 3. pharmacodynamics, and 4. medicinal chemistry.
The dosage form of a drug with an active substance will experience a biopharmaceutical phase - pharmaceutical availability occurs where the active substance is ready to be absorbed - then it will experience a pharmacokinetic phase - bioavailability occurs where the active substance can have an effect - and finally the drug will experience a pharmacodynamic phase - there is an interaction with the body's receptors at the site. work—, where the desired therapeutic effect occurs.
Many formulation factors can change the effects of a drug. In the body there are several thousand enzymes that work as reaction catalysts and substrates. Some drugs used in the clinic attempt to react in the body to inhibit target enzymes. These drugs are called antimetabolites or enzyme inhibitors, for example anti-bacterial and anti-cancer drugs such as Trimethoprin and Methotrexate. These things are explained in this book.
This book was compiled based on experience while carrying out teaching duties and is an anthology of reading as stated in the bibliography
