The publication of this 2nd printing is the result of collaboration between the Book Center of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the publisher PT Rineka Cipta. The participation of the private sector is part of the context of caring for the environment, especially in public health issues. We consider the material of this book to be very good/weighty and important for the wider community to know and study, especially for people in rural areas who are far from hospitals or health centers, because this book is a requirement to make medicine independently for several types of common diseases that often plague or suffer from such as fever, coughing, itching, asthma, bloating, menstrual pain, and so on. Apart from that, this book can also be used as a guide or instructions for making medicinal plants in gardens or in the yards of people's homes in rural areas. In this way, the community already has a private doctor and pharmacy for several types of diseases that are popular among the community, as in the example above. As a book that was previously published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, there is no need to doubt the quality of the material contained therein. So it is our hope that with the blessing of Allah SWT what is described in this book can be useful and utilized by its readers.
