If pregnancy that occurs in women is something that is not expected or desired, that is what is meant by KTD. KTD can be experienced by women who are married, because of birth control failure, because the number of children is already many, or conditions where the children are still small, or because they do not want to have children, then pregnancy occurs. Conceptually, the term KTD can also be interpreted as Unintended Pregnancy. An unwanted pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs either because of the wrong time (mistimed) or because the pregnancy is not wanted (unwanted). When a woman does not want pregnancy when fertilization occurs (conception), but still wants pregnancy in the future, then the pregnancy can be categorized as a pregnancy that occurs not at the planned time (mistimed / unplanned). When a woman does not want a pregnancy that occurs for various reasons and does not want a pregnancy in the future, then the pregnancy can be categorized as an unwanted pregnancy (Unwanted). If so, an intended pregnancy is a pregnancy that is desired or a pregnancy that is expected to occur because it is being planned. It can also be when a pregnancy must be experienced by a woman, in a condition where the woman has not yet made a legal bond according to existing norms (both religious norms and applicable legal norms), or is not psychologically ready to accept the pregnancy she is experiencing. Incidents like this are often heard or encountered both among female students or school students.
