Books about medicinal plants, herbal books, have been widely circulated in the community. However, the book that readers are facing right now. Indonesian Medicinal Plants Book 1 is different in focus. The author tries to collect data that is generally needed for research, especially those that require evidence based theory. Apart from that, the author also adapted it to the Minister of Health's Program, namely Suntification of Jamu (the vaporization and process of scientific proof of herbal medicine through research based on health services). Previously, every medicinal plant described in this book had been published in the Sumatra Express Palembang daily, where the author was an editorial assistant in writing the Traditional Medicine column. The medicinal plants reviewed in this book are the result of the author's inventory when he served as supervisor of the Center for the Development and Application of Traditional Medicine (SP3T) in South Sumatra, where these medicines can also be used by traditional healers (Battra) and their patients, including isolated tribal communities. Kubudi Sungai Jernih Tribe, Musi Rawas and Kerinci Seblat National Park to cure diseases."
