In the postpartum period, mothers have special needs as they are still weak and need to recover from childbirth while also breastfeeding a vulnerable baby. These needs include nutrition and fluids, ambulation, elimination of waste, hygiene, rest, and exercise. These demands require specialized midwifery care. The book "Midwifery Care and Breastfeeding" provides knowledge about the postpartum period and breastfeeding, specifically for Diploma III Midwifery Education students. The contents of the book are based on the Curriculum for Diploma III Midwifery Education by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2011. Overall, this book aims to increase awareness and knowledge about postpartum and breastfeeding among the community and new mothers.
