Immunology is the study of the body's defense system against diseases, especially infectious diseases, while serology is the study of blood serum and body fluids. Thus, Immunoserology is a branch of serology that uses components of the immune response to detect the presence of disease-causing infections, where the detection technique is based on the working principle of the antigen-antibody bond.
